Opening Ceremony and General Session

Combined, the ADA and FDI represent one million doctors of oral health in 130 countries. This year’s historic joint meeting brings together these two organizations that influence health policy affecting billions of patients worldwide. The Opening Ceremony and General Session will spotlight how we all succeed by working together toward achieving optimal health for every human being.
The ADA FDI World Dental Congress is thrilled to announce the Oscar-nominated actor and producer Mark Wahlberg as keynote speaker of the ADA FDI 2019 Opening Ceremony and General Session. Wahlberg, a committed philanthropist, founded The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation in 2001. The Foundation works to improve the quality of life for inner-city youth, helping them to be successful and lead extraordinary lives. The Foundation also travels across the U.S. to create a dialogue around the dangers of opioid abuse.
Wahlberg’s long-standing allegiance to philanthropic outreach and the Foundation’s efforts to address opioid abuse align with the work of ADA and dentists across the country. Join us during the Opening Ceremony and General Session to hear more about this important work and to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary global impact that ADA and FDI dentists make every day.

Tickets: Adults $85, children $25 (included with VIP Upgrade)
Roam the “streets” to see the art of Mission Street, taste great seafood from Fisherman’s Wharf, experience the different cultures in Chinatown and so much more, all without leaving the Moscone Center. Reception attendees will get to socialize and network with other dentists and dental teams from all over the world in a fun environment. Entertainment, drinks and food will be available. Registration for San Francisco Night is open to all guests. Badges are required.
